John Muir Award

Last year a group of students had the opportunity to take part in a conservation project at Watchtree Nature Reserve. The group completed a number of challenges and environmental activities ultimately achieving the John Muir Award – a nationally recognised qualification.

Yesterday the students were awarded their certificates and had the opportunity to view a documentary of their journey at a special viewing in school.

The film was made by Mobius Loop media – a creative media company following the generous support from Cumbria Youth Alliance.
