Hockey and Cross Country news

🏑 Our U13 girls travelled to Austin Friars on Monday afternoon to compete in their 7-a-side district hockey tournament alongside five other schools. The team showed great determination and teamwork throughout, putting in a fantastic effort in every game. Although they didn’t progress to the next round, they represented the school brilliantly.

🌟 Girl of the Game, voted by her teammates, went to Evie E for an excellent performance in defence.

🏃‍♂️ This week our talented cross country runners attended the County finals at Cartmel. On a cold and wet day it was great to see the runners show such grit and determination on a difficult course. Special mention to George (4th), Bella (4th), Tom (8th) and Bel (11th) who all qualified for the County team. Well done to all the runners for taking part – a fantastic achievement.💪💪💪
