Y7 Football

Yesterday our Year 7 Boys Football Team travelled to Sefton to play Maghull High School in the last 32 of the National Cup. It was an extremely tight game where both sides had limited chances. The end of regular time saw the game end goal less. Extra-time followed and we remained level with the game going to penalties. Unfortunately we were narrowly beaten on penalties. As a school we are incredibly proud of the team and how well they have done so far this season. The last 32 of the National Cup is an outstanding achievement. The team have worked very well with Football Coach Hayden to set themselves up with the best possible chance of winning games. The lads should hold their heads high as they have done us and themselves proud!
